Kitchen Suppression Systems – Inspection, Testing & Maintenance
1-Day, 8-hr course 0.8 CEUs approved by CALFIRE
This 1-day, 8-hour instructor-led course focuses exclusively on the inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
Participants will receive detailed instruction on semi-annual and annual maintenance procedures, 12-year hydrostatic testing requirements, documentation and tagging, red tagging procedures, and system impairment protocols. The course includes guided, hands-on performance testing and maintenance procedures on multiple manufacturer systems, reinforcing proper lock-out, disassembly, inspection, functional testing, and system restoration.
